First pixel picture I've done in a looong time :) I started this one in early 2010, then had to let it rest for one year or so because of the lack of time and motivation. I got back to it a couple of months ago with the aim of releasing at Outline, a demoparty in Holland that was held earlier this month. Since then I've fixed a few flaws and added a bit of polish. If I had to redo it again, I would probably use a few less colours for the main tint and keep 4-5 different colours for the face and sky. I think this would have looked less monochromatic. EDIT: rearranged the palette and added more details on the dog's coat. Thanks everyone for feedback!

That works nicely, tho some of the darkest pink (on the doogy coat) blends with the wall behind. It could use some dark shading there. Just a bit, for contrast.

Yeah, I removed the yellow but then darkened the white. If you remove either or there should not be a full white in any case. But it would perhaps also help to change the value of some of the colours to adjust for the loss of the brightest tone.

Ptoing, thanks for the edit, that looks cool! I might try something like this during the weekend, but remove the white instead, as I'd like to keep the colours quite warm.

The easiest fix imo is to kill the bright yellow, make the white a bit darker, and then add a inbetween colour for the pinks. I also made the dark pink a bit darker so that it flows into the next darker colour better.

Wow, this is slick! I love the style and the rendering. Besides the pink on the dog being a little out of place and not rendered, my only real complaint is that the background is somewhat flat. Great job, though.
