I thought I'd do it, simple? Yes, but what I can think of.

It seems....I dont know. Far too empty I guess. When drawing a mockup you should always make it so that you would want to play that game. I take it that you are new to pixelart, so I think its no too bad for you then. I would suggest adding some objects and AA'ing the thing a bit.
