Just read the English translations of 'Crime and Punishment' and 'Lessons From the Underground'.. both favorites of mine now; mostly the 1st. Roskolnikov was someone you can really relate too.. or I could.
Love everything in this except the fog, it's just foging ugly. hurrhurrhurr.
Nice work ...
Carriage and monument are my favourite parts
colors seem to be a touchy topic to get critique on. although carnivac didn't say anything about color count that I can see. why the harsh words?
No, not every iso = eboy. The iso pieces miascugh or Fool die are a lot better tho imo. This is quite eboy in that it has a lot of plasticy corner highlights and whatnot. Still a lot better than eboy, but it looks at least eboy inspired (tho your people look tons better.)
@ptoing: no eboy here at all (or every iso for you is the eboy style?).
@Carnivac: What transparent details you meant.
Afaik, some transparency on big iso scenes is allowed. Also, this has over 1400 colours ;)
It's nicely done, not really my cup of tea tho, I like less plastic/eboy kinda iso.
simply outstanding.... And this piece probably got my entire heart because of the train :D
@Balamoot yes! I mean, no! I was thinking of the Variety Theatre director :)
M&M is one of my all-time favorite works, actually :)
(And not just because one of the characters' names is pretty much the same as mine :) )
@Hapiel: Thanks. Glad you like it.
@Mrmo Tarius: Good job! You must have already read Bulgakov's "M&M". ))
A grand piece.
Also, BEHEMOTH! Yes! :D :D
(also naked witch yes!)
It looks even richer in colors and details than your other works! Great stuff!
@TheoVision:
Thanks. Then enjoy M.Bulgakov's "Маster and Margarita". ))
incredible! Very nice piece. love the details, and would love the Russian literature piece with the naked witch in it
gotta love the locomotive and the water.:)
the reflection at the top left is really cool!
