This actually has 18 colours, instead of the maximum of 10.

I didn't use opacity, but I didn't say anything cos' everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

@Batlorder - That doesnt look like opacity to me, I think he placed those darker shades by hand.

@Sazaho - I like this, interesting looking character. Maybe add some stars to the background to make it look less flat. I'm kinda confused on why hes sitting on what appears to be a road sideways. Is he on a wall? can you explain this?

huh you call this pixel art? you've used opacity on shadowing under that sprites legs (if i'm right :p) so it kinda eliminates pixelart from it, secondly i'd work on shadowing lots here cause it's kinda plain now. To be honest i think you're underestimating pa it's one of the hardest forms of art avaible.
