thanks for the compliment Thug!
The X-Files were extremely cool back in the day (and was on everybody's radar - it wasn't even a "camp"or "nerdy" series), and I remember some prety gruesome episodes, so I can imagine your mummy's advise...
Wow ,when I was a small child it was my fav serial ,I was forbid to watch it ,but because of that it was even more exciting ^^
Work's really fantastic ,nothing to complain about !
Another nice image. Although there are two areas on Mulders cheek where the dithering creates a "line-y" appearance (it can easily be adjusted).
Molly and Skalder, I love them xD seriously, I really love the green lightning, great work!
Theo, you should really show more of your older pictures. Your dithering is really great, so smooth...
I think the reason the noses are a bit off is because I used a cartoony reference of Mulder and Scully. For me it emphasizes the body parts that are making the faces more recognisable as the characters. I tone it down again in my own pixel are to give it a more realistic look. In onther words: it helps me to more easily create characters to look like the real deal.
And yes Harrison: the X-Files still rock!
The noses both look a bit off to me. Mulder's seems too big/pointy, Scully's seems too short and snubby. It's really cool otherwise, though, and I'm glad someone else still likes this show.
she also looks bit kinda like those classical ladies u see in the early years
The pupil of his left eye is much too far to his right than the other eye is. I think fixing that will make the nose look better too. I'm not positive, but I think her neck is a little thin.
Otherwise wonderful job! The coloring is great- everything is so smooth and the green highlights are very well done.
OMFG! Can you take me some autograph in my nose? OMFG!
Thanks for the compliment Jeremy!
I must admit: yes, some things are still a bit off - my personal nemesis is Scully, as Gillian Anderson's eyes and mouth took ages to get them the way they are now (and still I'm not completely happy with it...). As for Mulder: David Duchovny was a bit younger back in the days - and a bit chubbier as he looks today!
wow! Dithering in the image very realistic , to be congratulated
Saw the preview and knew it was your work!
Great likenesses ... though I do feel that Mulder's face feels a tad too chubby (neck area mostly) but that's the only nit-pick I'd make! Excellent job (as always!).
Your dithering is the BEST!
