Saw your avatar on a comment somewhere and had to come by to say that I really like this!
Thanks Stickman, I appreciate the compliment. >: ) Creepy is always good.
I like it! The toning is a little peculiar but I like it's very VERY creepy feel.
@sinsky: Thank you. : ) It's supposed to look kind of like a guy took a thin cloth (think like, one of those cheap book covers one might have used in school) and stretched it over his face. The reason I was hesitant to AA it with the red and yellow shades is that I didn't want to end up making the face look huge, but I suppose I can give it a shot at some point today.
@xxmantisxx: Thanks. :D That's definitely what I was going for. As for the connection to the border...that was unintentional. I'll take a look at that too.
@showtime: And-a-thank you as well. :D The three circles were a last minute thought I had for a lighting effect to break up the enormous white space, trying to make it seem like the mask was cast out of hard plastic instead of cloth, but I guess it didn't work so much? Hmm...
Cool, I really like that you hint at a face yet there isn't one. I find the 3 circles near the top of the head to be somewhat out of place. I think there should either be more of them somewhere to establish a pattern, or none at all. just my opinion, though.
Cheers : )
The connection at the border on the top is bothering me, but other than that i pretty much like it, it's smooth, and very interesting to look at.
Looks nice. AA between face and background can be done with all of these colours. Border can also be blended with image or head placed some pixels below. I think head shouldn't contact with border in top.
It have face or not? :D
Thanks so much, Mr. Tape. :D
