well initially the idea came to me when I was looking through Metaru's gallery and saw the preview image for this peice www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/60543.htm
the hair made me think of klaus nomi for some reason and suddenly wide pixel klaus nomi seemed like an awesome idea.
But ya, I realized while making it that this size is a little too small for wide pixels. If I do wide pixels again Ill go bigger but atleast it works as an avatar at this size.
As soon as I saw it, I had to listen to this, again. After all that time.
Well done. I feel I have to ask what's the point of widepixels here though. I'm not sure they can really add anything to small pieces.
It's good. I'm not familiar with the guy but I think for some reason your wide-pixel version makes him look 'normal' if that's the right word? Still it's a very good attempt and I like seeing more wide-pixel stuff even if I'm not keen on that particular computer's palette.
the likeness could be better, but if we discard the likeness this is good!
