This could be more dramatic if the parts in shadow were melting into darkness, and a more realistic shading from the light source, with actual colors picked from the light. The green highlight you chose on the face is too dark and too different from the surrounding colors, looks weird.

Also this kind of light doesn't mix well with outlines.

Edit:

I didn't change the palette, but you might: some colors are too close and some too distant, the shift in hue is a bit random.
