As for the colors i considered less, in fact i added the last brown in an edit because of a free color, i will edit it though.

This artistic choice you made is ok but it is smarter to remove 1 color (color conservation) somewhere, like maybe you can work with 4 browns instead of 5. Just keep stuff like that in mind for future work. Another thing is you have 2 greys that use a total of 12 pixels. Maybe just one grey could work too. Its these little things that matter in skill development.

Best of luck in the challenge. You did a nice job and you have been improving and persevering and your effort does show. You shuld be proud of yourself for having the personal conviction of self improvement. I am proud for you, if it matters

Yes, i re-did it. I noticed the BG was transparent and that added a color, so i used black instead so that i could have 16 colors, for the challenge.

I see no transparency. I just see a black BG and I swore it was transparent when I added to your gallery.

16 Colors are the max and transparency...

In that case let me get an edit underway.

 it only needs to be an underground creature. not pixelled underground.

Then i couldn't enter it into the weekly challenge, because it wouldn't be underground. Afetr the challenge I'll change it.

The character alone is better imo, I say get rid of the background.
