I like the palette for a night scene and the whole style is original and interesting. More than one thing here reminds me of "Day of the Tentacle". The background (trees and spiralling things) is a bit busy, it's hard to discern if they're in the background or foreground. The dirt tile could perhaps be changed so it looks less like a wallpaper.
