Beautiful. Looks a tiny bit unfinished, some of the shading areas look like they're drawn with a large brush. But maybe that's just your style. Anyways, great piece.

Looks badass, but the axe doesn't look sharp and could look a lot nicer with a bit of an edit to the shape.

 Very nice.  The way his wrists are posed makes it look like he's delicately holding the axe.  If you drop his right forearm so his right wrist is straighter, and lift his back hand it'll help make it feel like he's really gripping that axe.  Unless of course you were going for a dainty axe viking.  :)

well the fullview isn't showing for me so I'll just crit the preview. there's banding at the very top of his back, and top of the shoulder as well. the 2px-thick outline on the back of the helmet is odd given te rest of the outline is 1px thick (except for a few spot obscured in shadow like the belly or nape of the far leg, which is perfectly acceptable). lack of an ear strikes me as odd, and there are some single pixels in the boots that are adding a little noise. I'm also a little confused as to why the deltoid is split by that big blocky line.

these are nitpicks of course. great sprite on the whole

I like it. The only thing I'm wondering about is the anatomy and the pose. I can't tell what he's doing. His left foot is turned to the side, as if he's about to turn. But his upper body suggests that he's sneaking forward or something. And why is he holding such a tiny axe with both hands? In terms of anatomy, I think the shoulder needs a bit of work. But I'm not good with anatomy myself.

But the colours, shading and everything else looks great, as far as I can tell.

I agree with Celia; the contrast between some colors is harsh, but you did well on the form of it; I suck at drawing humans.

Some of the more intense shadows and highlights could use a little blending, and it looks like the light source is a little off. But otherwise very nice. I like the colors and style of it.
