Yeah, I see what you mean; I was afraid that they would blend away if I made them too bright, but I may modify it.

reminds me of a really badass parasect mixed with the Flood from Halo.

I've just thought of something- if the tentacle things are coming out from the glowing 'belly' of the monster, they should be, well, illuminated at the point where they stick to the body :O
