Lose the body and the shine/shadow on the tree and it'll look much nicer.

Monkey Island did have a tree with a body hanging from it, although this piece reminded me of the Dead Island game logo (offcourse the uncensored version - what was that all about anyway?)
I really like the dynamic "posing" of the leaves and the tree trunk. It really makes the tree seem alive, especially in contrast to the stiff, doll-like corpse. I see you tiled the leaves, but different clumps of the same size look very similar. It would look less copy-paste if the variety tiles had more obvious differences. Every leaf on each clump is pointing down except for the same middle leaf.
Nice! The blue secondary light seems like it should also cast on the leafs and some branches, would look quite awesome with it. Regardless, it's nice.
pls make animation of guy swaying, would be so creepy and awesome
