Can you tell what exactly is worse than in other pictures?
Irfan viewer does transparency when saving to GIF. As for drawing - there are many options, I use MS Paint.
Just compared to the others this comes no where close!
Any suggestions on programs, i need the transparencey. :D
if the title of you piece is 'i know this is terrible', then it probably won't make it into the gallery. however, you can recieve feedback and critique in the WIP forum, which you can use to improve the quality of your work and hopefully get it into the gallery after revision.
the sun needs no shading. it's the sun, a big ball of light. the black outlines in teh water flatten the image. you don't need 10 shades of each color, start with just three (base, highlight, shadow). the lighting doesn't coform to the light source- the sun in the background.
