I saw the WIP on the forums before the post, i really like the bubbles, and the dithering is very good. The left ear on the headphones bothers me, it seems to be bigger than the one on the right. Other than that small bit i really like this, very good!
now that you mention it, it does make me think of cure's millstone piece.
i think less contrast between the shades of blue and more dithering patterns could make the water smoother.
the splash looks good!
