agree with the others here. you you could also use a vertical component to the running. when people run they bob up and down (their hear is not level all the time like it is here)
The arms/gun look very good! But the waist and below could use a lot of re-working. The problem is that in the frame where the right leg hits the ground, the left leg takes the same position, just bent. Giving the impression that the right leg bends instead and waprs and makes it all look bad from one little problem. Try to fix that, I'm not trying to be mean, just some Constructive Criticism!
The walking animation could use a few more improvements, but the design is pretty neat.
I'm not sure either, I tried my hand at an edit but it turned out worse than it was better. The leg movements seperately are very slick though!
I really have no idea what position you could put the leg, I'm not very good at animating though, ask someone better than me...
