if this is your second attempt at pixel art i might as well give you a valuable tip for any future instances, one you shoul stick and embrace like human beings embrace the love of a mother to grow up healthy and strong: do not dither.
dont do it, and i mean as in you dont need to, you dont have to, it has nothing to do with the shading process and unless you are being forced either personally or by any particulary technical restriction that magically limits you to an either a set palette of colors or a limited amount of them(the later doesnt really weights towards using dithering either)
and even if you think to yourself "hell this guy is crazy i can dither anything i want and i know i can do it" yes youc an do it and you can kill baby seals as well but you dont do it because its bad, its horrible and it makes everything you do look awful.
so basically do nto dither. its not part of the shading process develop in pixel art or spriting, and you certainly do not need to do it since you can just develop over time a better understanding of how colors work -allowing you to develop a better choice of colors that would blend naturally without having to resort to dither.
Good! The colors mix well making good dithering.
I still got a lot to learn and a long way to go
