Well I looked up that tutorial that a dude gave me and learned a good bit from it! I decided to practice actually making a pallette before starting and I think it worked out greatly! I still need help with AA...but I'm sure that will come with time I guess. Anyway, this is just a tree in a pot of dirt. (A very small pot) xD. The pot is made of a steel metal thing, and the lightsource...hopefully you can tell is on the top left :D.

P.S. I would like some help learning how to make shadows also... ;)

If you're going to shade the outline on the tree, I think you should continue that on the trunk and pot/dirt as well. The pot could use a little more contrast on the darkest shade, the lightest and middle shades contrast nicely but the darkest sort of blends in with the middle.

The shape and the leaves look good though. :D
