I read it elsewhere, so i cannot take credit... But thanks anyway!
you know xxmantisxx I never thought of it like that, thats some pretty good advice
I have noticed it... That have specified Thanks in an error. (=
the rough borders of the pixel clusters and scratchy dithering betray the smooth surface of the goo.
xxmantisxx-> Colours initially were I has chosen those. I would like to transfer sensation of that that I look at caustic, green muck under a bright white lamp as in laboratories. (= I will consider your remark
Chibiwing-> Thanks! (= having got rid of a background I has looked at the work to absolutely another, and this sight was positive! (= I am very glad that my colors were pleasant to you! (=
Very good job getting rid of the background without having aa issues. : ) I'm not liking the banding around the facial features. I see what Mantis is saying about the colors, but I think you're fine here; the way your colors are it makes me think of a jolly rancher candy.
This is good pixel art! But take a look at the stale colors... Here's how you do it in shades: Any time you make a color brighter, you change the hue to be closer to yellow, the brighter it gets, the more yellow it gets! And when you make a color darker, you edge more toward purple, the darker it is the more purple it is! You're very talented, colors are hard to master, you'll get the hang of it.
mantis - hue change can make something more visually appealing, but you don't have to do it every time. these colors work fantastic imho. you're only changing hue because of the light source. yellow light and purple shadow because purple is across the color wheel from yellow. if there's a white light it doesn't have to be hue shifted that way.
I love these colors and would lick the patootie out of this thing in hopes it tasted like candy apple.
