Nah, you have talent. But, everything takes practice. I don't see myself as a great pixel artist yet myself, but I've seen myself grow. You just have to see the same. Have you done graffiti in the past?
wow, thanks so much. I did want it to be like graffiti, and thought it was ironic and humorous with the subject. I kind of didn't expect to get any kind of attention or favorites at all for years to come (I'm not talented), but this is such great motivation to keep pixelling. I really can't thank you enough
And, it may be immature to say, but I mean no offense, though I love this image, I am not gay. ;>_>
It is holding a lot of coincidence with may day today, though.
I see the animal. It is just difficult. But, this is really good.
I mean, it's abstract, and practically graffiti. Dull, but in a good way, and blended in, tightly packed. I also notice a lot of linking in the image. Like, the two male symbols in the corner. =p
hahaha wow I'm having a REALLY hard time seeing an animal as you describe it
are you just trying to screw with the few functional brain cells I have???
Well thank you, that is a pretty zen way of looking at it, I felt a similar feeling towards it. Again thanks, I don't deserve comments
I thought it was an animal at first >.>
The GA make its head, with the dark part in the G its nose. The hole in the A is its eye...
Not gonna lie, I kinda like it better that way~
As far as having a statement goes, I read it something like "fact of life, not fancy, not played up, just kinda there".
This doesn't really resonate with me aesthetically or conceptually, were you going for anything or is this more of a random doodle? it's just really not engaging for me, I think it could really use some more colour or imagery, or even a more flamboyant font or something -- don't forget that even the font that you use can make a statement.
I think you're a great PA honestly. For instance, your avatar could be in a game and your lightning locust lotus among others shows great skill not only in drawing, but pixeling, and choosing your colors.
No, I have absolutely no artistic background. Me joining PA was my first step into any kind of visual art, hence the suckage
