 well I wouldnt call it retarted, he's just happy to see all of you, the red dithering is sort of the eye socket where the eye is being held.

Ah, my bad! I did see the original, so it's not a matter of ignorance, just mild retardation. I though that the eye was only 4 x 4 pixels and that the red dithering was there as a highlight of the spherical shape.

the dithering is intentional, it actually is a big eye and thank you  :)

you should also look at the original for comparing purposes and because its a sweet little number as well.

I really like this, and the colours work very well. But I'm not so sure about the eye. The dithering makes it look like a big eye, to me.

 I was thinking about it but in the original the tail wasnt moving so I thought I'd follow suit

You maybe could've shaked the tail a bit.

 Thanks Jal, I took a look at his sight and the layout was really great, his 3D renderings of those characters are also really neat-o.

Nothing wrong with that ref. madPXL is a true inspiration, great artist/designer and a master pixel pusher.
