Lawrence Devlin was an 23 years old aspiring man studying nuclear science at the A-tom  university in New York. Lawrence wasn´t your ordinary guy,he was straight A+ student, no one doubt he was a genius , only bullies who envied his wit.

 Comic books, video games, pizza and chips were his best friends, that backfired on his peers. As an social outcast  his road to adulthood was very croocked, women were alien to him, social gatherings were hazard for him and people went the other way when they saw him. Alienated, he easily fell for his dark side. Depressions, madness and lunacy walk hand in hand with ingenuity. 

As days passed, seclusion from human beings was wider and wider until he became totally psycho. Fuelled by nachos and comic books, he went to the local hospital to find the contraption that would change his life forever. Covered by the cloak of night, he infiltrated hospital and sneaked straight to X-ray room. Blinded by madness and comic books, he took the first animal he saw in there, took it into his obese hands. Reprogramming the X-ray machine, to send dangerous gamma rays continous, he entered the fiendish machine.

From that day he developed serious health problems. Even more enraged by this fiasco, using his newly gained features and newly designed mantis latex outfit, he swore revenge to human kind,mainly women. From this day he is known as Atomic Mantis.
