I'm not entirely fond of the colour choice - the palette might be better if it were less saturated, and it needs a bit more contrast.  Other than that, the lineart is pretty solid.  I like it.

I'm liking the idea, though it feels a bit flat. Add a whiter light spot in the middle of the one that's already there and add a darker shade to make it pop more.
