Nunca trabalhei muito sério no assunto. Fazer um trabalho conjunto seria legal, o que dificulta mais é que no momento estou sem um pc que eu possa usar (além de estar sem tablet a alguns meses, e animar com o mouse é uma dor x.x), mas po, se vc tiver alguma idéia, manda ai!

Did you create the layered file with transparency (in PS)? Then if you check the transp option in the (IR) Optimization palette, it should keep it.
You can also transparencify the final gif by selecting white in the color table, then clicking the little transp button/icon on the palette (provided you didn't use white elsewhere than the bg), but then you'll face another problem: the frames stack on top of each other because of that crazy setting I have no idea the name of which in English. You know, in the anim palette, below left of each frame, there is (sometimes) this icon of a bouncing ball. Select all frames, right-click the icon, choose the lowest option (that which shows one ball only, not many balls). Trust me, it works!
