Damn thats nice... bookmarking this in case i need wood reference later
Really good piece in all, but I love the table detail, I need to learn me some of that
The little figure is kind of lost in the wood grain pattern. It'd be nice if you had another color ramp or some hue shades to color force him.
Also, title/artist rhymes!
@ CELS Thanks for the feedback, I agree with what you said especialy what you said about the eyes I wondered why I couldn't get them to look right, no eye lids! Anyway I've corrected them and other bits.
This scene reminds me, of course, of Gulliver's adventures in Brobdingnag :)
I like how you've done the speculars on specs, and the specs in general :)
Also, the wood texture on the table is teh win.
I love how you've shaded this. Good job with the dithering. The style is a bit unusual though, because there's a lot of realism, but at the same time you have big cartoony eyes without eyelids and cartoony proportions on the hand and head of the guy with the glasses. Not a critique, just an observation :)
I love it! The colors are great, and the emotion is so clear!
Good composition with an impressive wood texture. All this in 8 colors only! Wow!
