Thanks for the advice Manupix, yeah I looked at that before I posted this sprite, and I know exactly where all those similar colours come from, the head of the staff and his red armour, I wanted things to "blend" together more but I wanted his staff to be different from his armour, while still keeping the same "theme" plus the way I set it up, I made a base sprite, and I made all the armour/equipment pieces seperatley so if its ever used in a game it would be easier to utilize. Also I think I know where I could remove atleast 2 or 3 of those similar colours, 1. on his shoulder, and 2. recolour the outline of the staff head(orb thingy)
Well the piece doesn't technically need a preview, since it's smaller than 100x100. If you still want one it's ok, but it should add something to the experience, and preferably not turn people away from the main piece ;) Anything that screams 'click me' actually.
Also, lots of similar colors.

Updated the preview, and added the neck in from the base sprite I have for this style character :), should I post more from my collection of these sprites?

@Manupix: Yeah I started thinking that maybe I should change the preview... what do you think, should I just make the preview the character itself?
@Mr.Special, Ya know you're right it does look "neckless" (get it??? necklace hahahaha I made a funny o.o' lol), I think I have updated the neck on the base sprite, but I dunno Im still not too satisfied with it, might post the base sprite on the WIP area of the forums and see what people think...
The armour/clothes look cool, but the head bothers me. The neck looks... well actually it looks like there is no neck.
Nice job. Many people will not click this, you should make it obvious the preview is only that.
fixed it, I was actually suprised when I went to edit the colours at how many random dark grey/blacks there were that I don't remember having there o.0 but its all better now and whatd'ya know, it looks the same
