Having a nice Greek music Youtube session right now =)
Good work on this series.
heh, this was actually the first time I had even seen this particular palette. I wanted to use an old system palette other than the c64 one so looked here code.google.com/p/grafx2/wiki/PaletteRepository
in the course of making the image I tried the Amstrad CPC, apple II, MSXI, and ZX spectrum before ultimately settling on this palette. It works pretty nicely for skin tones but otherwise doesnt seem very good.
thanks. Thats a cool story, I didnt expect anyone to know who this was.
Awesome!! +favd
My highschool band was having a rockshow a few years back in Crete, and our lead singer said something to the effect of "Psarantonis style, y'all" as he bent his head over his guitar. Everyone in the audience laughed. After the show, we found out Psarantonis himself was in the audience and was laughing his ass off.
You like psarantonis and the tiger lillies, what interesting taste in music!
Haha, I'm an experienced Amos coder but I never used the default palette for anything but the simplest & quickest programs, and it never occured to me to make any gfx with it. But you have done a really nice picture with those whacky colors and using Amiga-Medres too...fun to see! :)
Wow... this is... beutiful.
