Triclinio - Domus romana - Roman epic.

Il triclinio era il locale in cui si svolgeva il banchetto (convivium). I commensali stavano sdraiati su letti (triclini) attorno ad un tavolo basso e rotondo. Vista l'importanza del locale il triclinio veniva decorato con mosaici e affreschi sulle pareti, canti e danze servivano ad allietare gli ospiti.

The triclinium was the room where the banquet was held (convivium). The diners were lying on beds (triclini) around a low and round table . Given the importance of the local triclinium, it was decorated with mosaics and frescoes on the walls, singing and dancing were used to entertain guests.
