Ok, first; you have two very similar yellows (first sample & ball-hilight) I think this is simply a mistake you only meant to have one, right? And I suppose the magenta is not a part of the palette!?
The palette is quite saturated...ok, some ppl prefer that...but the blues are a little strong in relation to the the other hues.
It's a little odd not to have any violett or turqoise in palette of this size.
The red and orange selections are very close and they pair up in brightness...try to separate them more or adjust the brightness so they overlap and can be used to interpolate eachother.
The blue & green also pair up in brightness but that may allow for good dithering/faking of turqoise.
@DawnBringer - Yeah, a lot of my colours are very close but I tend to treat them as seperate for whatever reason. I don't often take, for example, the orange from my oranges to use in red, or yellow, or green etc.
And the magenta will, once I put the graphics into the game, be changed for transparent. I use MSPaint when I'm pixel-ing, and that doesn't have transparency (obviously).
I'd noticed that the blues were a bit strong, and I'll probably play around with those a bit when I get home from college. The computers here display colours a bit funny, so I'll probably have to tweak a few things anyway.
And there aren't violet/turquoise colours because, to be perfectly honest, I hadn't thought of them. Most of the time I add colours when I need them; this is the first time I've worked on a palette at the start.
I'll keep what you've said in mind and try to tweak the palette accordingly.
