I really like this piece, but I happen to like the preview even better, though you could do away that pale pink on the pokéball, which I find to be redundant.

The added colors for the main piece here, however, just take away that menacing factor from Gengar and as a result, this hinders the ability to captivate the viewer's attention to the mood of this piece. In my honest opinion, I think you're better off using four colors like you did for your preview because not only does it offer such great contrast, but it really captures that shadowy and ghastly essence of Gengar and I like that!
