I think you should simplify the AA a bit, its becoming banding in a few places. Maybe just 1 shade for AA. Also try AAing the inside of the outline, a purple will probably work well for that.
I would also suggest not trying too hard to contrive a style, and rather let it develop naturally.
You always want to place ref links in the art page description instead of a comment were it can hide. You can do so by clicking the 'edit it' under the art.
Also, when you do use a ref its always better to be inspired by it instead of making a copy or a close version of the original because technically its art theft and you never want that label or rep, k.
Again, you are new so this is info, advice and tips. In no way am I coming down on you, k.
Thanks for the tip!

You are still new in Pixeljoint so you may not be aware that everyone prefers whenever a piece uses a reference that a link is added to the description for 2 reasons.
1- No one will accuse you of RIPping.
2- You demonstrate you were not being deceptive.
As always try to be original with your art whenever possible. Its better for you in the long run :)
You didn't RIP THIS but it is the same character and even the BG is similar. If you created the original then its completely different and you need not credit anybody.
