The flames could be nicer, you are right, I tried with kaotic smoke and flames would be similar... mayb on next one, I am doing another ship. Also I tried with transparent but.. yeah not everyone has the same colour at the background.

Oh yes you're right. I always forgot the grey bg color of the site... 

I think the background is fine as is, it would probably be more difficult to read if it were transparent. cool artwork, the flames get a little messy though.
