It would be better to see you do your own sprites from scratch, because this looks like it could be a bit of minor sprite editing to me.

You could try drawing your OWN Mario sprite. It's not impossible. Plus, it looks like you skipped a few walking frames. He looks like he's, I dunno, galloping or something. He just doesn't look like he's running.

well there really isnt too many ways to do a mario sprite lol, and it is noticably different, i used a dfferent light source than on the orignal sprites.as i said i did use them to show how i need to make them move but i didnt just trace over them or anything just used as referance tm ake surei had it right.

It just probably doesn't do you much good to just redraw a sprite by hand if it looks EXACTLY like the original.

i did, i wont deny i looke at some different sprites ot get the movments, but i redid each spirte by hand because the ref. i had was really crappy.............thank you for the comment anyway
