I don't think I have learned anything honestly. I still don't understand why everything is as it is. I get the whole elipse shading gradient thing, but with if the perspective is altered slightly, etc. I'd be just as clueless. All I have learned to do is this exact angle, object, and light source...
Following advice is not the easiest thing either. The only thing that matters is what you've learnt through doing this. And, mostly it's tacit knowledge.
Seriously, I was under the impression that it still sucked. I just followed everyone's advice. Not sure how much credit I deserve
the shapes of the reflection and the texture turned out great.
Agreed, I get all excited thinking about PJ :-) (pixel joint too)
Thanks PixelKnight :-()
Nice work with this.
Pomegranate juice is the shizzle, ma nizzle.
You\ve really shown growth in such a short time, congratulations.
Wow really? I thought the texture sucked. I do like the colors though
You've got some really nice texture happening in this piece.
hmmm. I do have a single brown color in the leaf I could use. But I am not sure how to apply it, so I think I'll just leave it as is.
Mmm, I love pomegranites.
Maybe a little brown in there would look good.
Came out really nice, yiou can't compare it with your first try =)
Thanks! Would've gotten nowhere without you and the others I mentioned.
Such a great improvement. Very well done, you tackled everything. :)
Then what you should do is iterating what you've learned in another piece to set in stone.
Don't understand why this piece is inactive though.
