This is an initial soldier progression for a hero-building game my friend and I are developing.  I've already done some animations, but since we're officially getting under way soon I need to nail down all the different armours, helmets, and polearms I've made (there are several more I've not included) and start making sprite sheets that will work.  I'm sure anyone who's ever done this knows what I'm talking about; the amount of art you need to do becomes exponentially larger the more customizable/cosmetic options you have.

Please give any C&C.  Tell me which one you like the most.  I've done many different colors but have made them all uniform for the purpose of showing the progression.  To satisfy anyone who's curious I would lable these guys as follows:

Yeoman - Footman - Pikeman - Vintenar - Man-at-arms - Knight

The plan is to eventually add a larger tier of sprites (maybe even a third set, for very high level soldiers) but that's a ways down the road.

I'll be posting animations once I figure out how to do it right.

First time I've faved something in the public queue. I can't even pick a favourite. In terms of C&C, I guess you could put some stronger highlights on the armour, but I actually prefer it kind of flat, as it is. It fits the cartoony style.
