Well, This was for a 1 on 1 Duel on a forum called pixeltendo. The rules were; Any video game character Any outfit aside from their original Any style No Pose Limit No Deadline
I Realize i could have gotten away with less colors, but it was rushed, only taking about a half an hour for the finished piece, i may animate later. For those of you who want to know what traits came from which character, read on, if not, just go ahead and comment.
Traits; Link's Hair, Mario's Hair Color Link's Boots Mario's Colors Mario's Hat Link's Sword, Fireflower Power Link's Belt Over Shoulder Link's Shorts Link's Gloves Mushroom Shield And Link's Belt
And there you have it. Any criticism would be great, i'd love to see this piece completely fixed, and look like it was an official nintendo pixel art.

A game would be so cool if it had a Link w/ fireflower power! I'd play it in a second! Actually, this should be recomended to Nintendo, so I can play it. Awesome!
Haha, yeah, i liked the hat too. Chaindog, to your comment, i really tried with the mustache, it just ended up looking like crap either way. The more i think about it, the more i want to animate it, so i think i may later on, if i get time. Basically, though, for other reasons aside from the duel, I made it to quiet all those mario and link fanboys that kept saying their favorite was better, but yeah, thanks for the comments.
