Two weeks ago I went to this café where a poster, depicting Maiden’s Tower was hung on the wall. This tower is in the middle of the sea and there’s the city silhouette and a cloudy sky in the background (something like the 3rd picture in the link). The poster was wrinkled by moisture and it was reflecting a strange reflection. So, I drew this reflection on a paper and noted down the colors, then pixelled it at home. Voila, a face came out of this reflection, provided a few touches that wouldn’t really change the whole thing a lot. Everything’s normal up to here, people make things out of irregular shapes right? The strange part is, whenever I look at this piece I’m still seeing the tower in the sea and the city silhouette. Can anyone please look at it and tell me if they can see it too? Or have I gone nuts?
Thanks to Jalonso for his advice on dithering. Actually he told me to go more experimental but I couldn’t really manage something very different. |
Palette is awesome
