 thanks!!! the song is "Vicarious"  it is an ok song as far as Tool songs go in my opinion.  The song "Right in Two" from the same album is 10 times better!  Alex Gray's art is mindblowing

could make it a bit easier to read 'TOOL' (brighter, might even push it further by working a little black behind it as you have on the interior of the circles). I spot a jaggy on the bottom right of the circle's edge. on the corners- top right could 'connect' a bit more, interrelate a little. right now they look like random squiggles in a black field rather than patterns that flow together, like the album cover. lower right could probably be made a little more 3d and curve in on itself like the ref. you might even rotate it so that it fits better in that corner (so that the tendrils are reaching toward the center of the image and you don't have as much blank space). the purplish color used with the red in the topleft/lowerright isn't necessarily helpful imo.

not bad, the aa on the lines isn't very logical though, and is probably doing more harm than good right now. here's an edit of the left side.
