That possum looks a lot like cure's avatar! :O

What I meant was that the 'possum's right claw's outline turns bright and the whole thing seems to get lighter for one frame in the animation.

 Thanks Jeremy, I combined both animals palletes. Plus I did a back highlight on the 'possum I'll probably take out.

 Thanks bobowitzbob, it's been years since I did pixel art/ animation. When you say 'flash', did you mean the black claws just popping out? If so, I'll fix that. The animation seems choppy with three frames. I'm going for that "Street Fighter" heavy breathing before they battle plus I'm kinda rushing this to beef up my portfolio. Definitely, definitely thanks for the input!!!

The 'possum's hands seem to flash. Also, a smoother animation would be nice. Good job though!

there is some banding here. also needs more contrast. but ya it sreally nice.

You have a few duplicate colours in there, especially in the grey ramps.
