I know what you're thinking... did he fire six shots or only five? In all the confusion I kinda lost track myself...

Used part of the Arne16 colour scheme - the greens and yellow didn't work so I stuck with mine. The gun is modelled on the Dirty Harry posters. The blam is based partly on a Blam font I found at Blambot comic fonts but I tried to make it 3d to match the gun. The octopus borrows from the Goon and other random octopus photos. Thanks to offwhite / surt and dpixel for makjing me include the Blam / colour advice encouragement respectively. And also the academy.

This makes me think of  "Does he look like a bitch?" even though it doesn't look like Samuel L. Jackson.

At a quick glance, the character is a bit hard to read.  Maybe some more contrast?  That gray color seems like it would be darker.  Even a darker color between the fingers.  The gun and animation look great.

Thanks Surt. I'll work on the colours - the character was quite clear on white but it murks up on the standard grey PJ background as well. I don't think I gave the colours enough thought and then I did so much animation with bit frames it seemed too hard to fix the colours... must try harder.

I thought that the flow of the animation might be brocken by a full Blam. The Blam also hides the static nature of the remainder of his body. I tried placing the Blam behind his hand in front of his body but it was illegible. Maybe a 1965 batman tv blam will do the trick and tie into the original fro era. Plus I have a different colour blam that I ommitted due to business that might get a gernsey.

Love the character and animation.

Colours are pretty weak. The dark green and dark "yellow" are barely distinguishable and same with the cyan and mauve.

Also, the blam is cool, but I don't feel it's placement corresponds well with the pistol. I know you're constrained by the canvas, but maybe you could try replacing the whole image with a colour and the blam centred on top.
