The blue on the face really isn't working here... I can see it has potential, but that blue is jarring.
Yeah, I know, but for such small, tightly packed areas single pixels mattered a lot more for detail and buffering starts to look messy and unneeded so I chose to leave those areas alone.
Well yeah, but the bits where you don't (shadow under eye, next to nose) stand out.
I already do use a yellowish green as a buffer, as far as I can tell anyway.
The palette is an experimental 34 color (may add more entries) palette I may or may not use again. The fact this pic ended up at 15 colors is coincidental.
The blue on the face would look better if you used the yellowish green as a buffer. Nice work, is the palette from anywhere?
The bluegreen works surprisingly well! Nice likeness, retains a lot of character.
So that is where your avatar came from lol, I never would have guessed. Anyway I think it works well despite the color palette, kind of like EGA & CGA which are hard to use. :)
