This is my first attempt at pixel art.I am developing a isometric tactics RPG with a friend, and we decided on going 2d because we like the look and flavor that pixel art has.Any comments to help improve or otherwise help me out in the future are welcomed.

yes if you work on him a little more, like go ahead and add in some weaponry and maybe even a little more dynamic pose, i think it would be pretty cool.
he's holding weapons, but they are part of the game engine and not part of the main sprite(they get layered in because there are multiple weapons).BTW its not a fighter sprite, its a sprite for a tactics RPG, similar to FinalFantasy Tactics.I'll work on it some more.From all the stuff on rpg sprites the legs appeared to be positioned in the same manner.The only difference is I'm going larger than the 32x32 sprites, because they looked to low rez on a monitor for the game I'm
You should have referred you used a tut at SpriteArt for its making...Hez he supposed to be doing what?seeing what time is it?
I'm not very good in fighter sprites but, I think you should try to define his muscles a lil bit more and also correct the shape of the legs, theyre too straight.
