Very good idea and execution. I beleive you could fit the body exactly into the map (instead of leaving a green background) by lifting the right elbow a little and adding a pauldron on the left shoulder. Either way it's a very good pixel art.
Did you upload the right one? some parts seem a bit WIP-ish,
