Weekly Challenge: Ultra-Close Portrait
How in the hell did this get last? I can understand not in the top three, but last?
I don't know what you did but this is scarily realistic in texture!
I really do love the technique and level of pixel art you've done here, but I still don't think it quite looks like your ref. I made a quick edit to show what I mean. The eyebrow is just longer and thinner and so is the eye and the nose I realised is straight on your ref but in yours it starts moving into the cheek, so I moved that over a little too.
This is really great :D
You could maybe work a darker colour into the top eyelid/eyelashes.

This is very nice, but I have to agree that the preview looks much better.
I agree with offwhite. The preview looks sharper and better. Also, the eyebrow still could be a bit longer and thin out more as in the reference. Brilliant though : D
@Latien and Frost Butt How does it look now? I didn't really wanted to be too long, cuz i orignally had it longggger than this but it looked weird imo :C
@Offwhite Yeah, i like the preview more but idk, there's something nice about it being all monochrome-ish lol I'll change it if more people want it that way though.

Looks great, but the eyebrow doesn't match the ref. In the ref, it's a lot longer and thinner and the eye is thinner aswell. On first glance, I could've sworn this was meant to be that Robert Pattinson guy from Twilight.
Really nice! I like the preview best though. Feels sharper and more lively with colours :)
the only problem is the eyebrow stops short. The eyebrow should go well past the eye.
