I was thinking of doing that, but in his actual game, Meatboy looks pretty much like this, without all the "gorey" details. I was afraid that too much detail might have made him...unrecognizable. In Super Meat Boy, he pretty much looks like a bunch of red squares with some knocked-out teeth and a pair of beady eyes.
