More or less. I've done many pencil/ink drawings of hands, so it wasn't hard to get the basic shape. I think the lack of a model is why the lighting is so inconsistant.

 So you didn't use any references as "models" for the hand? You just drew it by memory?

@ cure: There is no reference, except the novel 1984 by Goeorge Owrell. Everything is from the words, and my mind's interpretation.
