Most awesome. I especially like the trees and expressions.
A slight crit tho, the grass/ground on the left mockup, and the dithered sky in the right mockup do not quite fit the rest, style-wise.

Though as criticism, I too am not a fan out the white outlines. I don't think they help it at all, even on the game mockups. Also, I think that the bear stands out as a weaker entry of the sprites. Its design and colour palette lacks the punch of the other, more detailed characters.
Also, that third tree looks like someone's giving me the finger.
