I was about saying how awkward the pink ground texture is, but after taking a closer look at it and the tileset I think "what a great mood".
Here's a screenshot of the Alien Mastermind. Well, his head, really :)
@Mrmo Tarius: Interesting...
do you have also a screenshot of the alien boss? I tried in google but I found nothing...
... and thanks for the fav
Awesome use of colors and shading. I love the little bit of yellow on the ship, it makes it pop out!
Well, there's UFO2000, a multiplayer 'engine' using assets from both the first X-COM and TFTD. It's kinda fun to play as aliens versus your X-COM buddy :D
Oh, and also from TFTD: Tentaculat O_O
@Arkan:
Oh sorry for the misunderstanding. I mean we played together on the same PC, sort of figuring out what to do together :)
I didn't know that man, thanks for the info :)
@Mrmo Tarius: Thank you!
I didn't know about the final boss... I played really few time with X-Com - Terror from the Deep, I played more with U.F.O. - Enemy Unknown (a.k.a. X-Com - UFO Defense).
@Theoden: Thank you!
Is there also a multiplayer version?
YES. I approve, condone and support any and all X-COM related stuff, and this is a real good one :)
Oh and also, @Theoden, TFTD had already mixed Lovecraftian mythos into X-COM :)
The Big Bad looks like Cthulhu and resides in a sunken 'city' called T'Leth! :D
Great game, I used to play this with my brother for hours back in the day, good times.
Great idea to mix two good stuff together (X-Com & Lovecraft). Nice pixels too!
I especially love the details of the Triton submarine
