Thanks a bunch for the links and feedback, I'm kinda new to this so I didn't even knew the terminology, I'll have all that stuff in mind. I agree with what you said except that I tried to emulate the feather texture with the noise, I tried dithering it and it didn't look like I intended... but maybe I just need to practice more... I'll try to make a revised version soon, thanks again ♥
I think you might try to do without outlines altogether: the level of detail in this piece makes them somewhat awkward. You could define the volumes with a good shading instead: pick a light source and shade accordingly.
I'd also add a (simple) background, as the white double outline is also not really style-consistent here (and the default PJ grey theme would drown the subdued colors without it).
You might also improve the refining: make sure each individual pixel is optimal, creating nice clusters instead of the more random and noisy present textures. Check out for banding at this stage too!
Nice piece anyway; and welcome!
What with description???
Thanks a lot for the feedback, I didn't use black for anything though, the darkest color is a dark blue, do you think it would look better if I made it a little less dark?
Wow! Nice work, but I think that the black outlines ruins the work... :s
wonderful little birdy c:
