Cure is right: this is a really good approach to the challenge.
I didnt voted for you because I am being challenged also, but I would.
@philippejugnet: Thank you!
...yeah ...it should resamble more Anubis considering the scale weighing_the heart...
Hey man! really cool! is that isis? it looks like a little but also anubis... Really good =D.
It really looks great because in egypt ( the paintings ) have some kinds ocult things.
@baah: Thank you!
Yeah... it is my heart!
I feel a big hole in my chest!
@Prototailz: Thank you!
I appreciate your technical explanation but I don't know if I will find the time to try it...
... I am working on the next one!
@cuervo.taylor: Thank you! ... and great explanation!
@cure: Thanks...
I put some darker color on the heart and tried to fix the head...
I want to explain the secret reading of it: removing the upper part of the head (above and left of the scale) Anubis looks like a girl... (and Anubis nose can be considered something like a plait)... so, her judgement (represented by the scale) makes her similar to the egyptian god of afterlife...
I know, I should try to make more understandable things without secret meanings... but I like that...
Someone has been very nasty! Is this your heart arkan85? ;p
Great picture and theme! Maybe darkening Anubis would ease the reading of it though...
I really love the idea of this picture, but it's just confusing to look at. It could really use some depth, as in Mr. Anubis being farther from the scales, now it looks like they're at the same depth level (if that makes any sense).
I rlly love this piece of art I have read some books of Egypt and know that Anubis used to weight the hearts of the Death in the Duat (like the Limbo of Egyptian methology) and I've they had been bad it meant their heart was heavier so they would be punished.
very cool approach to the challenge. I think it's a little hard to read where Anubis's head aligns with the scales, and perhaps the heart could use some darker darks so it's not too flat, but otherwise nice pixelling.
Wow ! beautifull artwork and a very clever choice for the chalenge also.
@MyO: Thank you!
